I am extremely passionate about languages/culture and how it can help us to develop a much wider understanding of every aspect of life and help to build meaningful relationships with other people. With this in mind, my goal is to be able to take in the culture, language, and perspective of others with an open and curious mind, and to also be able to teach and share my own culture, language, and experience through history, music, philosophy, and other disciplines. I want to be able to foster a sense of "cultural counterpoint"; that is, the ability to see the same basic object via several lenses at once, something which can be a direct outcome of the language learning process. I really love Steve Kaufmann and his respective methods in particular, and I would love to find others who share a similar enthusiasm for languages and in particular enjoy the process of learning. My German is at a C2 level, my Spanish is just right below, my Portuguese somewhere just under that, and my Ukrainian and Polish are somewhere in the middle (chcę zdać egzamin języka polskiego na poziomie B2 w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat)
Met het Nederlands ben ik nog en beginner, maar ik find deze taal eekt leuk (i gemakkelijk) ook ik will een dag uit Polen naar Nederland verhuizen :)
I would, in any case, like to refine all of the aforementioned languages to an extremely high level (with the goal of at some point being able to pass an advanced exam for all of those )

Hi! I'm a native Spanish speaker looking to speak and meet with people form other parts of the world.
I already have a decent level of English, I’m mainly interested in chatting with native speakers to get more comfortable with natural, everyday conversations.
As for the other languages (French, German, Chinese, Russian), I can read and understand them to some degree (A2-B1), but I don't have much experience speaking them, so please be patient, I'll try my best :')
A few things I’m into (happy to chat more about these!):
* Listening to music and playing instruments (guitar and piano when I have it). In fact, I studied music professionally at some point.
* Reading and watching shows/movies, mainly fantasy and sci-fi.
* Programming and messing around with electronics (I'm studying Software Engineering).
* Playing video games, especially adventure titles.
* Cooking
One thing I’m looking for is someone to play video games with (like Stardew Valley) so we have something fun to do while we talk. If you’re into gaming, feel free to send me a message! :)

Ya tengo un nivel de inglés decente; me interesa principalmente chatear con hablantes nativos para sentirme más cómodo con las conversaciones naturales del día a día.
En cuanto a los otros idiomas (francés, alemán, chino, ruso), puedo leerlos y entenderlos hasta cierto punto (A2-B1), pero no tengo mucha experiencia hablándolos, así que por favor tengan paciencia, ¡haré mi mejor esfuerzo! :')
Algunas cosas que me gustan:
* Escuchar música y tocar instrumentos (guitarra y piano si puedo). De hecho, en algún punto estudié música profesionalmente.
* Leer y ver series/películas, principalmente de fantasía y ciencia ficción.
* Programar y trastear con dispositivos electrónicos (estudio Ingeniería en Software).
* Jugar videojuegos, especialmente de aventuras.
* Cocinar
