Hello everyone, I am an art historian who is just getting to Paris from Beijing. I am now learning French and would love a good textbook, and person to talk to to correct my pronunciation. I was studying Chinese for 7 years and I would like to keep my fluency. Native or non-native speakers are welcome to chat and correct my writing. love to hike, run, do pilates, aerobics and get outside in nature. Hello, I’m Kanako from Japan.
I was born in Tokyo, and currently live between Tokyo and Chiba.
I’ve been to Spain twice so far, and I’d love to go back someday.
I thought I’d enjoy it even more if I could speak Spanish, so I’ve been studying it little by little on Duolingo, though I’ve never actually spoken it.
I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, and ethnographic museums.
I also like just sitting and relaxing while drinking tea. There are so many countries I want to visit, so I’d love to talk about travel and the cultures of different countries.
So I’m also interested in doing an English language exchange.
And I’ve been thinking about walking the “Camino Portugués,” so I’ve started studying Portuguese on Duolingo. I also love Brazilian music, so I’d like to be able to sing Jorge Ben Jor’s songs in Portuguese.
I’d prefer to meet online (via Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), but if our schedules align, we might be able to meet in person in Tokyo.
