I am Elbert, currently living in the Netherlands, and I would like to study in Norway next year. Because I have no previous experience with the language, I would like to fully immerse myself in the language. I currently speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish, and a bit of French. My interests are quite broad, such as social life, culture, history, sports, art, and, of course, languages. Hoi, I am from Belgium (Flemish dutch), but I am also fluent in English. I would like to learn Japanese to a conversational level. I got in touch with anime early on and grew to love this beautiful language and its culture. This is also a little experiment to see if I can learn a language by focusing mainly on input, validating Dr. Stephen Krashen and Pablo Roman's (Dreaming Spanish) approach to language acquisition.
