I was born in Tokyo, and currently live between Tokyo and Chiba.
I’ve been to Spain twice so far, and I’d love to go back someday.
I thought I’d enjoy it even more if I could speak Spanish, so I’ve been studying it little by little on Duolingo, though I’ve never actually spoken it.
I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, and ethnographic museums.
I also like just sitting and relaxing while drinking tea. There are so many countries I want to visit, so I’d love to talk about travel and the cultures of different countries.
So I’m also interested in doing an English language exchange.
And I’ve been thinking about walking the “Camino Portugués,” so I’ve started studying Portuguese on Duolingo. I also love Brazilian music, so I’d like to be able to sing Jorge Ben Jor’s songs in Portuguese.
I’d prefer to meet online (via Google Meet, Zoom, etc.), but if our schedules align, we might be able to meet in person in Tokyo.

My English is still at a basic everyday conversation level, but I’d like to get better at communicating in daily situations. I’m currently studying abroad at the University of Washington until October, so I’m hoping to practice my English while I’m here. In return, I’d be happy to help you learn Japanese and share things about Japanese culture, entertainment, and the arts.
