I’m a South African guy who enjoys meeting interesting people, discovering different cultures and having conversations that go beyond the usual “Hi, how are you?” 😊

I’m especially interested in China, Chinese culture, food, travel, everyday life and learning Mandarin. I’d love to meet someone who is also interested in learning about South Africa and practising English.

I can help you with English, and you can help me with Mandarin — but hopefully it becomes more than just a language exchange. I’d like to make a genuine friendship where we can laugh, share stories, learn about each other's countries and keep in touch regularly.

I’m easygoing, respectful and curious about the world. I believe good friendships develop naturally, so there’s no pressure and no rush.
