Language.Exchange

I am an Englishman called Tom. I am 82 years old (an ancient!) and live in Elveria. I have two daughters, one of whom is married to a Spaniard and lives in Elveria as well. I have been struggling to learn the language – CDs and books do not help me understand the spoken word. I think that the best way to learn is “in the street”. Hence my search for a language exchange partner.
Soy un inglés llamado Tom. Tengo 82 años (¡un anciano!) y vivo en Elveria. Tengo dos hijas, una de las cuales está casada con un español y vive también en Elveria. He tenido dificultades para aprender el idioma; los CD y los libros no me ayudan a comprender la palabra hablada. Creo que la mejor forma de aprender es “en la calle”. De ahí mi búsqueda de un compañero de intercambio de idiomas.
