I am Matt and live with my partner Amelia, and an 8 month old Pointer called Kaspa.
We have family that live in France but unfortunately our French is very limited and does not extend past the basic ordering of food, drinks and suchlike. We are keen to learn French but have found that the Apps and learning data do not give us the ability to understand what we’re doing wrong, to pick up the ear to the language and to learn past the fundamentals.
We’re initially looking to communicate by e-mail and possibly text, but as we become more confident to then potentially chat. We do visit France but initially are not looking to meet up. Should a friendship develop, that could change.
We’d be very happy to support the learning or practice of English in return.
