Hi, everyone, I'm Erika, 18 years old, and I study Political Sciences at UNMSM I'm looking for exchanges because I want to practice my acquired language skills. The amount seems quite a lot, but they are all the languages I actively consume in my everyday life and study. As you might imagine, I have learned a lot of stuff about learning languages to make these big steps, and I did start learning Quechua, which is one of my native languages. I grew up listening to and speaking Quechua in Spanish. My goals in Quechua were to establish funny and good communication and have the most interesting cultural background from my family, who speak it natively, and one of the most interesting talks I had with them was about myths and legends. Every culture and place has something unique; btw, I also enjoyed natural medicine, so I really found out the beauty behind languages, people's beliefs, and idiocracy—so, as you can tell, I'm more oriented to the humanities. You could actually talk about unique things in every language and culture, because I found out that there were no words in Quechua that had a translation or similarity to Spanish, and this applies to all of the languages. Now that my Quechua is decent and my accent is relatably native, I would say, well, that's my parents opinion. Back in 2019, I started my English journey because my grades in those subjects were really bad, and I honestly started thinking that wasn't necessary. I really don't enjoy the plan structure that schools have, at least mine. In the pandemic era, we'll guys have more time free, so I looked up a hobby, which ended up being some of the best investments and activities I enjoy and do in my everyday life. and overall health, I really do that I even plan to start teaching grammar and languages I did have language exchanges about a year ago, and I really miss them so much I had to leave it for a while because uni gets a bit wild some semesters, but I think that what I love the most about the challenges is that I feel more alive than ever and myself, and I had really good experience with groups of language exchange, so feel free to let me know your thoughts, questions, or just have a chat about pretty much any known inputs. well depens. XD, see you guys, Have a good day or night, and thanks for spending some time looking for an exchange partner and getting here. Let me tell you, it was worth it. -Erika
