I am a retired engineer, school teacher and analyst. I am learning languages as a hobby in retirement. I have a beginner's knowledge of German but have mastered English. I studied French in college. I have three science and engineering degrees but also have a strong humanties background and minored in English. I enjoy writing and have given many speeches. I am the first generation not to speak German fluently and started learning it in my later years. I have many German ancestors who wrote books in German. I am married. I play several instruments and sing. I enjoy nature, cats and tend to be spiritual. I want to practice speaking German with a native and I can help with your English.
