I own my own business coaching small businesses. Beyond that, I have extensive information tech (computers) skills and marketing/branding.
I love to travel and I have lived in Nigeria and Australia. I have lived most of my life in Southern California (I am located about and hour and a half from Los Angeles and an hour from San Diego) and Spanish is spoken everywhere you turn. I have dabbled in learning Spanish for years but I have never been bold enough to put what I know into practice. For the past 18 months, I have been working through Spanish learning using Babbel preparing myself to take the next step into conversing with my Spanish speaking friends.
I have good friends from Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico but I am embarrassed to try out my childish Spanish on them. I watch soccer games in Spanish and there are many TV channels in Spanish available if I wanted to practice my Spanish skills. I play soccer with a big group of people, many of whom are Spanish speakers.
