I am a 76 year old retired secondary school teacher and senior manager. I have attended beginner classes in Korean but I find it very difficult to remember vocabulary because I have no chance to practice so I can’t really speak much Korean yet.
I have visited South Korea several times and loved it.
I can help you practice spoken English if you can help me

Hi, I'm Zahra. Me and my sister Maya and I would like to learn a few languages in a fun way, and were studying IGCSE. We know English well, but aim to speak it fluently (since we stumble in conversation sometimes). both of us want to learn Urdu and Bangla and understand these languages (since were a total beginners).
I like drawing/painting and baking, while my sister likes animating and chess both of us like watching YouTube and learning new things (and watch a few animated series).

I am a retired editor and writer. My mother was born in Berlin, into a Jewish family. She came to England in 1937, but she never taught me to speak German. I have been going to German classes for the last eighteen months, but am struggling with speaking. I'd like to talk every couple of weeks with someone - perhaps near me in age? - who wants to improve their spoken English. I am interested in books, films, politics, singing, walking.

We are also teaching our kids Spanish, so it is important to me to develop my skill set. Hola soy Yvonne. I’ve been learning Spanish on Duolingo since 2021 and occasionally watch Spanish films and love to read Spanish. I’m probably intermediate level. I’m not aiming to get to advanced level but would love to be able to improve my speaking as it’s sort of OK but definitely not great.
I love my job in maternal mental health. I love gardening, playing badminton, walking, nature.
I’m married with 2 daughters in their 20s.
