Hi, I am a biology student in London eager to practise my Japanese. My native tongue is Chinese but I also speak fluent English and have been living in the UK for almost 10 years now. I like reading fictions in general (English/Chinese/Japanese). However, when it comes to speaking I often forget which expression to use. Besides reading, I also like appreciating the nature (going to parks and seeing plants), drawing (simple figures such as cute animals and chibi characters), and listening to musicals (Les Miserables, Hamilton, etc). I am - Australian Born Chinese

I want to learn to become conversational competent in mandarin.
I want to focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing (in that order if possible)
I can speak basic Cantonese - I would also like to improve that also but I prioritise learning Mandarin first.
My hobbies are photography, travelling and technology
Something interesting: I am travelling to China in December for a holiday, and I want to practice my mandarin so that I can survive and enjoy my experience.
I am friendly, patient and comfortable to be around.
I want to find people within my time zone (Australian Eastern Time) and practice around my evening pm.
I would like to do about 1 hour per session.

I'm serious about my learning, but I also want to make it fun and enjoyable at the same time.
