I really enjoy learning languages and everything about languages, which is my biggest hobby! Apart from that I love genealogy and history (my family tree has around 1000 profiles now), poetry, playing guitar, birdwatching and I'm always excited to learn something new about us humans and understand us deeper.
Russian is a language I feel I can speak from the heart, unlike English and I want to be able to write poetry in it in the future. I also have family in Russia ๐ท๐บ
Ukrainian is my great grandmother's language and one my paternal grandpa and his family were familiar with apart from Polish, so I want to get fluent in it so that I could pay respect to my roots in some way. There's still some of my relatives living there and I'd love to connect with them this way ๐บ๐ฆ
Arabic is a language I'm passionate about, especially when it comes to dialects and dialectology. At the university I usually study MSA (ุงููุตุญู), but what my catched my heart first was the Syrian dialect, especially that of the coast ๐ธ๐พ
Turkish I'm studying due to my major and even though I won't be studying it no more begining with this semestre, I really liked it and would want to be able to communicate in it on a basic level ๐น๐ท I'd also like to pick up some Crimean Tatar in the meanwhile ๐

Hi there! I'm Natalia and I'm an artist and childworker. I'm moving to Sweden next month and I really need to learn Swedish fast - I'm trying everyday, but I think it's always the best to talk in the new language as much as possible.
I can teach you polish, and other than that I know English really well, I was also learning czech language during my studies intensely.
I think I can be a good teacher - currently i teach art to the kids and I can be creative with teaching foreign languages too!
My hobbies: everything with ecology, art (esp. modern and contemporary) and crafts (currently I'm into ceramics and I was sculpting as well). Other than that - music is my daily drug.

Hi there! My name is Maggie, originally from Poland, but I've been living in the UK for 18 years now. I started learning Japanese around two years ago, but progress has been a bit slow, mostly because I donโt have enough opportunities to practice speaking.
Iโm here to improve my conversation skills and to learn more about Japan. I have a wide range of interests, including music, books, martial arts (I practice Shaolin Kung Fu), food, and, of course, all aspects of Japanese culture.
My love for Japanese hardcore/punk music is actually what got me started with learning Japanese in the first place. By day, I work as an accountant, but I also run a small record label called Chopstick Records, where I release Japanese hardcore music in the UK. I also write a blog dedicated to the Japanese hardcore scene, where I publish interviews with musicians, album reviews, and anything related to the underground music scene in Japan.
