Hi, my name is Greg. I’m from Italy — born and raised in Rome, but currently living in Milan. I can offer Italian (my friends say I’m the best Italian speaker they know — I’m a lawyer by profession, so I need to have a special command of words). Sono una persona che crede che imparare una lingua sia il modo migliore per capire davvero una cultura. Mi definirei un viaggiatore instancabile: non cerco solo monumenti, ma connessioni autentiche e tradizioni locali.
Quando non ho lo zaino in spalla, mi trovi sicuramente a fare sport o a seguire qualche evento culturale. Credo che il movimento e la conoscenza siano le chiavi per restare giovani mentalmente. Sto cercando qualcuno con cui praticare inglese, magari chiacchierando di mete lontane o di stili di vita diversi.
I truly believe that learning a language is the best way to deeply understand a culture. I would describe myself as a restless traveler: I don’t just look for monuments, but for authentic connections and local traditions.
When I’m not traveling with my backpack, you’ll definitely find me playing sports or attending cultural events. In my mind there is always the desire of discovery, to learn about cultural events, to see new places or countries, to travel and meet people seeing different cultures, traditions, colours, tastes, landscapes or skylines. But to do this I need to train my English which is only at the level B1

I am Leonardo, a 20-year-old University student at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, studying Mandarin Chinese. I am a huge language fan and love learning languages from all over the world. Besides languages, I love travelling and playing the piano. I am already pretty confident with Mandarin and am currently focusing on improving my Taiwanese (Taigi) and Cantonese (which is at a higher level than Taiwanese but at a lower level than Mandarin).
