I speak Finnish, English, some Swedish and I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school (I understand more than I can speak). I'd like to learn Korean, and maybe talk to someone in Spanish so I wouldn't forget the language completely. Would also be nice to just speak English with someone :) As an opposite to my busy work atmosphere, I enjoy relaxing in my free time, for example playing games or watching series. Hello, I'm a Finnish university student who likes studying languages. I enjoy talking to people and teaching about all manners of things. I'm looking to primarily study Chinese and Japanese, and in exchange I can help you learn any of my spoken languages. I have a day job designing electronics, but I like to spend my off time creating things, sometimes in an artistic sense and sometimes actually physically building fun little projects. I occasionally play video games, but with uni and work I have barely any time for that anymore. But I do have time for the weekly Mahjong Friday I hold with my friends. I used to do bouldering, but I had some complications with my back so I no longer do it. When it comes to languages, I love both learning and teaching, so feel free to hit me up even if you don't speak any of the languages I'm actively seeking to learn. Hello! Bonjour! I am a Finnish woman who is currently studying musical theatre (comédie musicale). I worked in France as an aupair but unfortunately, I never achieved the French level I dreamed of! I am looking for someone who would be open to talk with me and correct me if I make mistakes. I am not looking for a teacher since I already have one, we can talk about everyday life and improve our skills as we go! I am also interested in nature and animals (I have a degree in Zoology), spirituality and Eastern philosophy (although these topics are a bit above my current French level so I might not be able to speak about them just yet), and the arts (theatre, music, dance). As for my goals with French; I am aiming to pass a DELF B2 exam in order to be able to study music in either France or Switzerland in the future. I would love to find someone who is comfortable with speaking over video call/Zoom (10-15 min doesn't have to be long) regularly as speaking is my weakest skill.

Hi, I am Finnish language enthusiast currently living in Helsinki. I would personally consider my self a self-taught linguist. I am native Swedish and Finnish Speaker (C2), have C1 in English, and B1 in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. My Vietnamese is quite poor and German is okay A2. I am aiming to pass all the JLPT-tests. I will start from N5. in 2025 I plan to attend HSK3 and maybe HSKK middle level. At some point I would also like to have a grade 3 in TOPIK (Korean language test) I have been to university exchange in South Korea twice (Hallym University, 08-12/2016; Kyung Hee University 08/2020-05/2021) and lately I returned from a 9 month stay attending Chinese classes at National Taiwan Normal University (08/2023-05/2024). I have also travelled to Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam for some 2-3 days each. Studying languages and meeting people in the process is a life style choice I made at the age of 22 (now I am 32). I am happy to help people in learning languages so if that is what you want we could meet and then I see what I can do.
