An English accents enthusiast, I'd like to learn to speak a little Mandarin or to enhance my B2/C1 level Spanish. I love to read out literary texts from books (fiction or non-fiction). I’m Jacqueline. I was born in Canada, grew up in China, and now lives in the United States. I’m a native speaker of both English and Mandarin, and I’m looking for someone to help me practice French. I love traveling and doing anything outdoor. Rowing is my main sport but I also enjoy running, hiking, cycling, and playing other sports. Besides athletics, I am also interested in space, astronomy, anything engineering related, creative writing, and art. If anyone is interested in helping me out with French (I’m still probably more of a beginner), I’ll be very happy to help you learn English or Chinese mandarin.

I love traveling and I worked in China for a year where I picked up a bit of Mandarin. I'm studying Mandarin again and would like to do a language exchange so I can practice basic conversation.
I have some university education and I've helped ESL friends study for residency tests. I can speak and write formal English, and can also teach you lots of cool slang!
I also speak a bit of German but it's getting rusty, and I'd really love a German language exchange as well.
I'm a big fan of underground music, reading books and paganism. And I love nature.

I am a retired man (61) and earn money by trading and investing in stocks and commodities.
I studied several languages--French, Spanish, German, Greek--many years ago, but unfortunately, have forgotten most of them because of not using them.
My strongest interests and hobbies are reading and listening to and playing (piano) classical music. I also like to watch Youtube videos about life and people's experiences traveling to other countries.
I have about 9 years of university education at 6 different colleges and universities. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics and finance, and also studied law. My understanding of English, including writing, vocabulary, and grammar, is at a very high level.
I have some knowledge of Russian--perhaps the equivalent of one year, or a little less, of university study--and would like to improve it.
