I have been living and working in Malaysia as an English teacher for 10 years and I want to improve my Malay fluency. I'm looking to make friends who are patient and will engage in meaningful conversation. I'm reasonably fluent in basic everyday interactions, although my pronunciation is a bit 'British,' but I'd like to engage in more challenging topics to broaden my vocabulary and improve my fluency.

TailandésI am a native speaker of Mandarin and I has been a Thai learner since 2020 and I would say my Thai language level is intermediate. I had the chance to exchange and live in Bangkok for 5 months. I really love Thai language and culture. I hope to find someone who can have a long-term language exchange with me and we can become friends!
Besides, the reason why I am also practicing Malay is I'm not frequently using Malay in my daily life due to my academic background and working environment. My career plan is to work in local NGOs and I think it's very important to speak Malay fluently as a Malaysian and to connect with communities.
