I'm an anesthesiologist in Honolulu and used to live in Japan so I can speak basic Japanese. I'm planning a trip to Japan this year so I’m hoping to practice my Japanese. Outside of work I'm into fitness (mostly road running, trail running, swimming, yoga, cycling, and weight lifting), plus kombucha brewing, live music, and art.

I am retired. Love to travel the world. Japan is my top destination: people, food, culture, scenery, and onsen. Been to Japan around 40 times, for business and vacation. Walked the Shikoku pilgrimage (ohenro) three times, in 2016, 2019, and 2023. Since November 2019, decided to learn Japanese in earnest. Looking for partners to communicate and converse in Japanese and English.

我是美國亞利桑那州出生的薄道遠，上個禮拜搬到夏威夷檀香山來唸碩士，最怕的是住在夏威夷這段時間以內 中文將會荒廢掉 因此正在找語言交換的夥伴！
我愛上戶外活動，例如，衝浪，沙灘排球，自由潛水，高強度間歇運動等等。這個學期在UH Manoa要開學念中國歷史。希望每一個禮拜有機會參與語言交換三，四次 （也不用過於正式，一起玩/聊天也算吧！
