Hello!
My name is Albert and I was born and raised in the States. I spent almost a year working on IT certifications and completing projects. I am currently working towards a Networking certification that I believe will be a major stepping stone toward finding that next opportunity in IT. I grew up with computers (Remember those old Commodores or maybe a Gateway 2000?) and I hope to find fulfilling work in IT or accomplish something with my computer skills in addition to the engineering work I did a long time ago.
I enjoy driving on the open road and looking far into the horizon where the heavens meet the earth. I also enjoy playing Texas Hold'em (using chips, not real money), hanging with my nephews and nieces, and listening to music occasionally.
Just an extra note about me that I just have to share. A major illness sidelined me for many years and I was forced to adapt. Lets just say that sometimes you just need a "kick in the butt" from God, fate, or mother Nature to see . . .Often times, the first thought you get about something is completely wrong. It is often wiser to ask someone else (preferably someone who knows what they are talking about) about what you are thinking than to act on your first thought. Sorry, if I got too deep there.
About the languages, my second most fluent language is Chinese because of my Taiwanese heritage (I also know some Hakka/Taiwanese). My language fluency drops dramatically from there in the following order: Korean, Japanese, then finally, but not least, Spanish. Does Latin count?
