Hey! I'm Stan and I used to speak Portuguese, it is the main language I want to learn(again). I served a mission for my Church in São Paulo where I learned the language and I want to learn it again.
Two years ago I rode my bicycle from the mid-west of USA to Panama, in fact in my picture that is me staying at a bomberos in Guatemala. My goal was Brazil but ran out of energy and money in Panama and decided to work for a while at home. I rode through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. My goal is to fly to Columbia and ride to Brazil.
This is the main reason on on this site, to re-learn Portuguese and lean Spanish. I never leaned Spanish to the point I was comfortable, most of the time I was alone on my bicycle and didn't have much time to practice. Plus every country was a little bit different in Spanish.
So I'll help you lean English if you can help me lean Portuguese and/or Spanish.

I am a researcher from Sungkyunkwan University in south Korea and i am currently also working at the University of Utah. I am traveling forward and back between Salt Lake and south Korea for work, but i am most of the time in Salt Lake. I have started learning Korean, but i have yet to get fully fluent. I also speak Spanish pretty well from a few years ago when i Lived in Spain. I hope to improve my Korean and practice my Spanish.
I am interested in Science and Technology and i am interested in other cultures and languages.

I’m a native English speaker, but I have a Masters Degree in Spanish (focus is on Latin American literature) and I formerly taught beginning and intermediate Spanish at a University. My level of Spanish is “Superior” according to the ACTFL OPI test.
In graduate school, I took two semesters of Brazilian Portuguese, and have reached a level of “Advanced Low” according to the ACTFL OPI. However, I am looking to improve my Portuguese, and be less dependent on my knowledge of Spanish when speaking it.
I am happy to help someone with English (American) or Spanish (Latin American) in exchange for help with Portuguese (preferably Brazilian).

Hi! I am a Ph.D. student in Neuroscience. I like playing badminton, watching animes (Samurai Champloo is my favorite) and reading literature (I have just read the Romance of the Three Kingdom, the version by Mitsuteru Yokoyama). Although I have been in the US for 5 years, I feel my English skill is still premature. Practicing English will definitely improve my life as an international student, which is why I started using this service.
