Hi! I am a native, highly proficient English speaker. I have been told that my accent sounds like I am from Upstate New York. That is not to be confused with a New York City accent. I'm currently working on my TEFL certification, and I leave for China in less than 40 days from now. While I will be looking to teach English, I am also interested in studying Mandarin. I believe that I can read it much better than I can speak it because I have gotten very little speaking practice. I will appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.
